Ohh, Snap Cookie
Recipe
Recipe
I have kept this recipe a secret long enough (you know what they say, you can't take it with you), so it is time to share. CAUTION: THESE ARE ADDICTIVE! I hope you all can enjoy these cookies that only few have been able to eat. I figured that the holiday season is quickly approaching and what better time than now. I think you will find this to be a keeper. Cheers!
1 1/2 cups butter
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 cup molasses
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 1/2 cups flour
4 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 cup butterscotch chips
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter chips
Directions:
In your large mixing bowl on your electric
mixer cream the butter and sugar together. Next put in the other wet ingredients
and mix until combined.
Add the dry ingredients and mix, don’t over
mix, but make sure there is no dry flour spots. Dough should not be too sticky,
if it is then add a little flour, but make sure it is not
dry!
I use a ice cream scoop to measure the
cookies, roll them into cinnamon sugar.
Squat them down to about 1 inch thick on a
cookie sheet that is covered in parchment paper. Then bake at 350 degrees for
around 12 minutes. Take them off
the cookie sheet and cool them on
racks.
